In July 2014, Nikki Bella was in the same handicap match with Summer Rae Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes Summer Rae. Ariana only came to fight Nikki Bella. Then she was able to play Naomi in the Battleground event before the show. Ariana won the battle against Naomi in the battle. Their rivalry was born in the aftermath. Through the summer, they competed at handicapped match singles and tag teams. Throughout the summer of, Ariana competed with other wrestling stars Alicia Fox Paige Bella Twins as well as Asuka. WWE announced in 2016 that Ariana was let go within two months. Arina became an WWE NXT member after she had left WWE.
